Back in November, WWE announced a five-year partnership with The CW Network to orchestrate NXT’s broadcast television debut. Earlier today, WWE notified its fans via press release that the white and gold brand will premiere on CW beginning October 1. In addition to that, the first episode will emanate from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, where CM Punk will make a special guest appearance.

A week later, NXT will head to St. Louis at the Enterprise Center. Gracing that occasion will be WWE’s Apex Predator, Randy Orton. A point to be noted is that the October 1 episode of NXT will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite. It’s obvious that WWE will look to stack up the show, and CM Punk‘s inclusion is a step in that direction. It’s an exciting time for fans in general.

There’s a couple of women yet to make their highly anticipated debut. It’s Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. Both have all the hype behind them. Reigning NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez recently stated that she wouldn’t be subdued at all with these international stars, who must be craving to leave a mark. The impending addition of Giulia and Vaquer would only bolster the NXT Women’s division.

And if all that’s not enough, there’s always a to-and-fro synergy between NXT and TNA. The fans have witnessed some major crossovers in the past few weeks with Joe Hendry being the talk of the town. Not that long ago, the TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace went to war against Roxanne Perez at the Battleground PLE in Las Vegas. Things are sailing smoothly for the brand that’s been under the vigilance of Shawn Michaels for quite a while now.

Where do Randy Orton and CM Punk find themselves post SummerSlam?

Before they gear up for guest appearances for NXT on CW, both Randy Orton and CM Punk have their own business to take care of. First, Orton will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight title at Bash in Berlin.

As seen on Raw this week, The Ring General’s celebration was cut short by The Viper. They mutually agreed for a match following that controversial finish at King and Queen of the Ring. On the other hand, Punk’s chase for Drew McIntyre is still on.

Even though the latter escaped the wrath of The Best in the World on Raw, they’re destined to meet again. Punk would want to make amends for his loss at SummerSlam. He will get a chance to settle the score at Bad Blood PLE inside Hell in a Cell, as reported by WRKD Wrestling.
