WWE has been making a lot of changes to their programming in the last few months. All these preparations are setting up a foundation for Monday Night Raw moving to Netflix in 2025. The red brand is set to undergo another massive change from next month that might change the structure of their weekly programming.

During this week’s Raw, WWE announced that starting October 7th, Monday Night Raw is going to be a two-hour show. This change will continue until the December 30th final episode on the USA Network. The show will air live on television from 8PM ET to 10PM ET every Monday.

According to the original plan, WWE’s deal with USA Network was set to expire in October. However, due to the fact that the deal with Netflix will come into play in January, the show needed to find a temporary home for three months. As such, WWE and USA Network agreed to a deal to broadcast Raw for three more months under these specific terms.

Nonetheless, the status of stars like John Cena and even The Rock has already been confirmed. It is expected to be a game-changing move for WWE, and fans are all excited to see the red brand on the streaming platform.

Fans took over the internet ever since WWE made this major announcement on Raw. People had mixed reactions over this news. Some users on X were against this change. They put forward the argument that this change might cut off the TV time for several talents. Moreover, Raw has arguably been WWE’s best weekly televised show since the beginning of the year. Therefore, many felt that three hours were appropriate for the show.
