A night before the fans get their next King and Queen of the Ring, WWE will stage a historic SmackDown taping in Jeddah. Emanating live from the Jeddah Superdome, the show will mark blue brand’s debut in Saudi Arabia. And it seems like Triple H and his men aren’t leaving any stone unturned to play fair with the Middle East audience. A huge Bloodline matchup has been announced.

Having said that, the interim Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, will join forces with the recently debuted Tonga Loa to battle Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits. It would be Loa’s WWE in-ring debut under his current incarnation, albeit he has previously wrestled in WWE. The former NJPW star wouldn’t get a better chance to showcase what he’s got up his sleeve. There has been a good chunk of fans who’re cynical about how well he could go when thrown into deep waters.

Nonetheless, since it’s a tag team match, it’d enable Solo to lead the charge for the better part. However, it would be interesting to see how Tonga Loa fares in his maiden outing on SmackDown. Apart from these two, Bloodline’s third and potentially the most intimidating muscle man, Tama Tonga, will wage war against 14-time World Champion Randy Orton.

The MFT is poised to draw the lines with The Viper in the semifinals of the ongoing King of the Ring tournament next week. Last night, Orton put away Carmelo Hayes to get through and now gears up to finally lay his hands on Tama. At Backlash, Randy’s team succumbed to Sikoa and Tonga despite a herculean effort by Kevin Owens. All thanks to Tonga Loa’s debut.

What else has been confirmed for next week’s SmackDown?

Apart from the aforementioned matches, there’s a lot to look forward on next week’s SmackDown. First, in a non-title match, Women’s Champion Bayley will take on Chelsea Green following their backstage altercation in Jacksonville last night.

Since WWE hasn’t included The Role Model for the PLE in Saudi Arabia, it would be a great experience for the local crowd to come see her perform regardless. Then, WWE is also teasing a confrontation between AJ Styles and Nick Aldis. This week on SmackDown, The Phenomenal One was interviewed backstage.

He was asked about his future endeavors in WWE following a couple of tough losses on the trot. Styles said he would have a meeting with the SmackDown General Manager to figure out what’s next for him. Last but not least, Bianca Belair will lock horns with Nia Jax in the semifinals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
