“Michael Cole is a Horrible Human Being”: When WWE Superstar Bayley reacted to Vince McMahon’s accuse Michael Cole
Bayley in the ring
During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show a month back, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon referred to Michael Cole as “a disgusting human being.” Bayley has responded to this. Bayley and Cole have had a lot of friendly banter on and off screen over the years. Bayley even had Cole’s name shaved into the back of her skull for the 2021 Royal Rumble. Bayley even challenged Cole to a bout at the Elimination Chamber later that year.
When she spoke up about her dislike for Michael Cole on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, she tried to clarify a lot of matter. Cole is obnoxious, she claims, and she began selecting him during the epidemic when there was no one else to pick. So Bayley decided to do something special for Corey Graves and Michael Cole.
“He’s so annoying, just look at him [laughs],” Bayley said. “No, you just look at his face. It was just from the whole pandemic era, where we had no crowd. Nobody to play off of. The only type of reaction or any words or anything I heard was [Corey] Graves and Michael Cole to my right. Every time I’m in the ring, every time I’m doing a promo I can hear them frickin’ breathing. You know, that’s how quiet it was.
“So I just started picking on him or talking back and people seemed to like it. I was like alright we’ve gotta do something here because it’s so hard to watch without fan interaction. So I had to give them something and they’re the only ones out there and it just became so fun.”
Bayley responds to rumours about her return with a mysterious comment
Bayley hasn’t been on WWE programming in over a year. In July 2021, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion tore her ACL while exercising. Due to her injuries, the star was supposed to have a rematch – and maybe a lengthier conflict – with Bianca Belair, but it was cancelled. The winner of the 2019 Money in the Bank went undrafted in the 2021 WWE Draft. The Role Model has been a much-missed part of WWE’s main roster, prompting many fans to speculate and beg about her comeback.
Bayley tweeted out a statement that appeared to be in response to this speculation: “In my own time zone”. She then proceeded to make another strange remark: “Because of you”. Bayley has been active on social media throughout her time away from the ring. She frequently uses Twitter to express her admiration for her fellow WWE Superstars. She was also present at WrestleMania 38, and she shared a photo of herself in the audience with her homemade “Shayna is the worst” placard.
