WWE legend and Hall of famer Booker T had in a recent Hall of Fame show showered praise on WWE superstars Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Both Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were involved in high profile matches at this year’s WrestleMania with Kevin Owens main eventing night one of Wrestlemania with the Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin and Sami Zayn brawling against Johnny Knoxville in an extremely entertaining and hilarious match.

Booker T named Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn as two Superstars who have “stepped up” lately in WWE:“I look for the guy’s talent more than anything, I look for the hidden talents, stuff that you can feel it but you can see it. You look at a guy like Owens, and I say, ‘Man, this guy, he’s evolving.’ He’s evolving as far as talent goes – and right now he’s doing character stuff with Ezekiel, he came off the stuff with Stone Cold Steve Austin.”

The former world champion also added: “ I feel like he’s the guy that’s going to be able to be put in a position and you’re gonna be able to bank on him going out there and delivering no matter where you place him. He may be one of those guys that’s not always working at the upper echelon of the card, but he’s gonna be a guy that you can put there and you’re going be able to believe that guy.”

Booker T also went on to praise Sami Zayn for manifesting his ability to ‘shift gears’ when required by the company. The WWE hall of famer feels that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens have a good year ahead of them: “I’m Looking at guys that are shifting gears from different perspectives and those are the two guys (Owens and Zayn) that I really see them doing some good work this year.”

Kevin Owens is now engaged in a storyline with the returning Elias who claims he is not Elias anymore, but is Elias’s younger brother Ezekiel. It seems that Kevin Owens will be involved in a feud with Ezekiel. Recently Kevin also implored for Sami’s help to resolve this Ezekiel-Elias confusion so there might be a chance that Sami will get involved in this storyline too, however it still remains to be seen how the entire story plays itself out.
