WWE laid-off numerous of their employees in the first half of the year due to the pandemic. Multiple wrestlers, producers, trains and several other employees were released from the company. Now it seems like, with WWE planning to bring back the live audience, they are getting their employees back.

Many employees who were furloughed by WWE earlier this year are being called back. Earlier today it was reported that “The Hurricane” Shane Helms was back to his role as a producer for the company. In fact, he was even present at Survivor Series and the following Raw tapings.

Now it is being reported that Helms isn’t the only producer who has been brought back. Mike Johnson from PWInsider has reported that Fit Finlay has been called back for his role as a producer for WWE NXT. It has been mentioned that Finlay was present at the Capitol Wrestling Center for the recent NXT episode.

Interestingly, Finlay is not new to handling the backstage work. Even when he was an active wrestler, he used to help out with the production. He has an image of being a helper to all the wrestlers on the WWE roster. Primarily, his role was to help the women’s division with their in-ring performances.

Prior to his release from the company in March, Finlay had appeared on WWE’s “The Bump”. He mentioned that he really hated the way women’s division was being presented initially. So he helped the women on the roster to know the ins and outs of wrestling. But now the women’s roster, especially on NXT, is on a whole new level. The roster of the black-and-gold brand is bound to benefit from the expertise of Finlay.
