But Rousey didn’t want a normal one-on-one match against the Queen. Instead the former Raw Women’s Champion wanted to face Flair in an ‘I quit match’ at WrestleMania Backlash which WWE recently made official. Rousey and Flair will now face each other at Backlash.

After the match was confirmed, Charlotte Flair took to Instagram and sent a stern message to Ronda Rousey claiming that she would give a break to Rousey’s career at WrestleMania Backlash. Here’s what she wrote: “I’m going to put @rondarousey career to sleep at WrestleMania Backlash. Time for a lullaby bi*** #andStill #wrestlemania”

Charlotte Flair’s fiancee, Andrade was released by WWE a few months ago which brought a huge setback for the Queen as she didn’t have a lot of friends backstage. During an interview with Ariel Helwani after WrestleMania 38, the Queen revealed the heartfelt effects that followed her after Andrade was released by the company. Here’s what she said:

“A little difficult at first, I was like my two best friends were gone (Ric Flair and Andrade). But now I’m just used to… oh, you’re going to make me upset (wipes tear). Hold on. It sucked because they’re my people. They would do anything for me. Go to bat. But Manny (Andrade) had to make career decisions and seeing him do so well is important. My dad comes and goes, comes and goes. That wasn’t as hard.”
