Regardless of the fact that Rousey forced Flair to tap out at WrestleMania, she was unable to win the championship since the referee was knocked unconscious at the time. Despite Flair’s triumph, Rousey showed up on SmackDown the following Friday and lost no time in challenging Flair to an “I Quit” Match.
Flair declined the daring challenge and urged The Rowdy One to move to the back of the line. The Baddest Woman on the Planet, not to be thwarted, pushed on a rematch and that Charlotte Flair will shriek “no” when she twists her arm backward. Eventually, she appealed for a rematch to Adam Pearce, which has now become official by the WWE Management as announced on WWE Talking Smack.
Ronda Rousey kicked off Smackdown with a statement about how pumped up she is for her rematch at WrestleMania Backlash because she deserves it. In a recent gaming live stream, Rousey discussed her loss at WrestleMania 38, stating that Charlotte Flair “cheated” her way to victory. She said:
“I’m all sore. I got screwed. I tapped out Charlotte and the ref didn’t see it. I was trying to wake up the ref, Charlotte tried to ambush me from behind. What a world. Charlotte cheated. I should have been ready for a cheater. There should be no amount of cheating that can beat me, that’s how good I have to be.”
The UFC athlete definitely has vengeance in her eyes are she aims to settle the score whereas it has now become a battle of dignity for Charlotte Flair as there are no escapes this time. The two collide in a highly anticipated ‘I Quit’ match at Wrestlemania Backlash.
