One of the most stupendous matches of the 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All was the mystery match of Seth Rollins and the returning Cody Rhodes. The match was not only of the best matches of the most stupendous two night event in WWE history, but was also one of the most athletic matches in all of Sports Entertainment history.
Cody Rhodes recently appeared on WWE Raw Talk and had nothing but praise for the Visionary Seth Rollins for his abilities and their match at WrestleMania 38. The American Nightmare also spoke about Rollins’ mind games that he was trying to play recently on Raw. Here’s what he said:
“Absolutely! I think that’s the whole point. I wouldn’t have been emphatic. I know what Seth Rollins is doing, trying to get into my head. This is very much his house. I thought I could put him away sooner, but he took me to my limit. I was so happy (in Detroit), so excited that I got to face The Miz. The Miz is a d*ck. Anyone who saw that graphic can realize that he’s a two-time WWE Champion. I’m looking forward to Backlash. It’s going to be another fight. I have no doubts it’s going to end the same way, no offense to Seth Rollins.”
Cody Rhodes is set to battle Seth Rollins in Round II at WrestleMania Backlash
After a huge win at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes has now impressed a lot of men in the ring. The American Nightmare motnonly defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38, but also showed the world that he was capable a lot more than that and also made his intentions clear on Raw after Wrestlemania.
But Seth Rollins was not very impressed with the American Nightmare. The Visionary, on the recent episode of Raw, challenged Rhodes for a rematch at WrestleMania Backlash which the American Nightmare accepted. Now that things are confirmed, Rhodes will face Rollins once again at WrestleMania Backlash.
