The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes made a triumphant return to WWE on Day 1 of the most stupendous two night event in WWE history, WrestleMania 38. Rhodes came out as the mystery opponent of the Visionary Seth Rollins and the two stole the night before Rhodes defeated Rollins.
On Raw after WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes addresses his return to WWE and also his superb match against Seth Rollins. The prodigal son opened the new era of Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 38 was officially in the books. Rhodes tried to begin when the WWE Universe gave him a warm welcome with a lot of ‘Welcome Back’ and ‘Cody’ chants.
Rhodes then began with the rumors that were surrounding him after him leaving AEW and called the rumors stupid. He then revealed that he had signed a multi-year deal with WWE and praised Seth Rollins for the match at WrestleMania 38. Rhodes then shared an heartfelt photo of Dusty Rhodes with a championship and then brought some tears in his eyes remembering his hero.

After sharing some heartfelt memories with Dusty Rhodes and said that if he couldn’t give a championship to his father, he could have a championship around his waist. This was led by Cody Rhodes making his intentions clear when the Visionary Seth Rollins came out and interrupted the American Nightmare.
Rhodes first brought his hand forward for an handshake when Rollins shook his hand and showed respect to the American Nightmare and said him ‘Welcome Back’ before leaving the ring. Cody Rhodes has made his intentions clear and will be going after one of the prestigious championships in WWE and could also win it very very soon.
