The injury bug has now stung Bron Breakker. It was reported prior to this week’s Raw that ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ underwent surgery for a hernia. It sparked a speculation spree on social media regarding Breakker’s comeback timeline and whether it may hamper his WrestleMania status.
Raw this Monday opened up with Michael Cole confirming that Breakker injured himself while training last week. Cole also stated that the Vision member will be out of action indefinitely. The fans got to see Paul Heyman confronting Adam Pearce backstage.
‘The Oracle’ blamed the Raw GM for pushing Bron Breakker to a degree where he got so badly riled up that Breakker popped a hiatal hernia while working out till 5 in the morning. Heyman revealed it isn’t curable with a laparoscopic surgery and would’ve required a major one for anybody but Bron Breakker.

‘The Wiseman’ held Pearce responsible for Breakker’s fate. The WWE authority figure told Heyman that as the GM of Raw, there’s no one apart from the Vision who wants Breakker back as soon as possible, as he’s one of the keys regarding the future of WWE. PWInsider noted in its report that the 28-year-old hurt himself while flipping over the table last week on Raw.

It was determined by last Wednesday that he would have to undergo surgery for the hernia it caused. The son of Rick Steiner was attacked by a black-hooded masked figure before the start of the Royal Rumble match. It rendered him ineffective to continue against an indomitable force like Oba Femi, who dumped the former Wolfdogs member over the top rope in merely 10 seconds.
The word making the way around RAW is that Bron Breakker’s hernia was an issue that had been ongoing prior to last week’s RAW, but the determination was made that surgery was needed after his appearance.

Breakker’s booking in the Royal Rumble Match was not dictated by any injury… pic.twitter.com/QUXjcynYVm
The said outlet also added that Breakker had been dealing with the issue of a hernia prior to last Monday, but the need for surgery was confirmed after he possibly aggravated his hernia on Raw. But it had nothing to do with the direction of the Steiner descendant’s Royal Rumble booking.
Ryback says Bron Breakker will beat his expected recovery timeline
Ryback is backing Bron Breakker to beat the expected recovery time for the injury setback he has incurred. ‘The Big Guy’ noted in a post on X that he once continued wrestling for 7 months in WWE despite having a strained groin. He wore compression shorts under his singlet and kept going. But it eventually cost the 44-year-old.

A mildly serious strained groin turned into bilateral core muscle tears, ripping both his lower abs. The Las Vegas native was told it will take him 20 weeks to get well. However, he returned in half the time. Ryback, putting Breakker in the same basket as him, affirmed that the ‘Unpredictable Badass’ will beat whatever recovery timeline is set for him. As revealed by Paul Heyman on Raw, his client suffered a hiatal hernia.
It usually takes around a couple of weeks to resume light work for a normal human being and closer to three months to resume strenuous activities. But it might take anywhere between 10 and 12 weeks for an athlete to resume high-intensity training and heavy lifting. Contact sports like wrestling could take nearly three months.

While that sort of a timeline unfortunately drives Breakker out of consideration to make his return by WrestleMania, Fightful has been told that WWE is expecting the Vision’s unhinged powerhouse to pull it off.
He was scheduled to face Seth Rollins, who’s also fighting the clock for his comeback in time. It would be interesting to see if Breakker vs. Rollins still ends up happening at WrestleMania, with both wrestlers currently out with their respective injuries.
