“Wrestle me” Cora Jade calls out former WWE Superstar Paige

Paige (real name Saraya-Jade Bevis) was recently asked to return to the ring by an NXT Superstar to wrestle her. Owing to a neck injury, the two-time WWE Divas Champion was compelled to retire from in-ring combat in 2018. However, Paige has been teasing her in-ring return for quite some time and it was anticipated that she would be making her grand comeback in the women’s Royal Rumble match of 2022. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
Cora Jade calls out Paige
A fan tweeted a message on Twitter that they miss Paige and want to see her in the ring once again. The tweet reached Paige as she acknowledged it by re-tweeting it and saying ‘I wanna wrestle again’. The tweet can be seen below:
To this, NXT Superstar Cora Jade called out Paige on Twitter by saying ‘Wrestle me pls”.
This appears to be a fun banter between the two Superstars but it would definitely be great to see them wrestle inside WWE’s squared circle. Cora Jade is the second wrestler born in the 2000s to participate in WWE, the first being Nicholas, who won the RAW Tag Team Championship with Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 34. She inked the deal with WWE in 2021 and has been a part of the promotion ever since.
