Charlotte Flair is one of the biggest names on the WWE roster today, She has been with the company for over a decade now and has become the most successful woman in the history of the company. Flair has won the WWE World Championship for 13 times in her career – highest among the woman in the company.
Flair is a six-time Raw Women’s Champion, one-time Divas Champion and is currently in her sixth reign as the Smackdown Women’s Championship. She is all set to main event Wrestlemania Saturday this year along side “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” Ronda Rousey. Clearly, the company sees Flair as a top star.
Over the years, Charlotte Flair has been consistently pushed by the company. She has been primarily a part of the main event scene. There is no doubt that her promo skills as well as the in-ring abilities are among the best in the business. But there has been a certain section of the WWE Universe that has always criticized the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
While one cannot expect to impress everyone – but it’s a fact that the Queen gets hated on much more than she deserves. She recently appeared for an interview with Bleacher Report, where she reacted to all her critics – pointing out her hardwork.
“People don’t realize how much pressure and hard work and dedication and I’ve never been about for a lengthy time. I’ve never had a major injury and to be able to stay on top like that is a tremendous amount of work in our industry. Instead of looking at it as a positive, like Wow what a consistent performer, what a hard-worker. It’s just, ugh, she’s always in the title picture, she always has the title,” mentioned Flair.
Charlotte Flair named the future of WWE
While on-screen we have often seen Charlotte Flair playing the role of the villain. But behind the scenes there is nothing but respect between all the Superstars. During the same interview with Bleacher Report, she mentioned that her long-time rival Rhea Ripley is the future of WWE.
“That’s one of my top favorite matches. I took an uninterested crowd and by the end they were chanting, ‘This is awesome!’ She’s the future of the women’s division. I tell her all the time. I have so much respect for her and I know that our paths will cross,” mentioned the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
