“I’m very excited about it” Drew McIntyre on his match against Happy Corbin at Wrestlemania 38
McIntyre vs Corbin
Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is surprisingly not scheduled for any title match but will be facing Happy Corbin at the grandest stage of them all. He shared his thoughts regarding their match and it seemed he was quite satisfied as well as excited about facing Corbin at Wrestlemania.
Drew McIntyre speaks about his upcoming Wrestlemania match

Drew McIntyre reacted to the unfavourable reaction about the match in a recent interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, praising Happy Corbin’s heel demeanour.
Next month, the two SmackDown stars will face off in a one-on-one match at the Show of Shows. The Scottish superstar has previously faced Corbin’s ally Madcap Moss, and now he has the opportunity to face the former United States Champion.
“I’m very excited about it, personally,” said McIntyre. “I’ve seen some of the comments when the match was made, the internet can be a very harsh place. I appreciate all my fans around the world, their reaction is, ‘Drew’s not wrestling for the title? He won the title from Brock two years along, he fought for the title last year, this year he’s fighting Corbin?!’ I understand that and I appreciate that, but the way I see it is… anyone who says he’s not talented in-ring is lying to themselves.”
Drew McIntyre has faced off against several of WWE’s biggest names, including The Undertaker, Goldberg, and John Cena. He defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship a couple of years back in the main event of Wrestlemania 36. He then competed for the WWE Championship, its following year against Bobby Lashley at Wrestlemania 37. However, this year Drew has a mid-tier match but the build-up to the match has been amazing as the feud has been well written.
It’s unlikely that Happy Corbin will end up winning the match but never say never, as WWE brings its 38th edition of Wrestlemania!
