Former WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix has recently announced that her decision to take leave from WWE NXT. Her commentary for WWE (NXT) in the 2021 NXT WarGames PPV is her last involvement in an NXT event. Her step down from her role in NXT has caused a flurry of heartful messages from many wrestlers across the world.

The three times WWE Women’s Champion, Phoenix also got an emotional post from her On-Screen and real-life husband Edge. The veteran Edge is currently involved in a feud with The Miz in WWE Raw. Now let us look at what Edge has written on Beth Phoenix’s leave from WWE NXT.

Edge showered praises over Beth Phoenix for the splendid job she has done in NXT for more than three years. In his post, Edge revealed that Phoenix never thought of doing this job but ended up doing it successfully. In an Instagram post, the veteran Edge writes, “I want to wish my far better half @thebethphoenix a wonderful send off tonight in her last call for #NXT Fittingly she’s going out with a bang since it’s #NXTWarGames This is a job she never thought she’d do, let alone excel at.

She’s her own toughest critic. But thanks to some wonderful partners along the way, and some serious work put in, including doing it remotely during the pandemic, she blossomed, as she always does. With all of that being said, we can’t wait to have ya back home to ourselves. Knock em dead Auntie Betty.”

Recently, Edge is involved in an ongoing feud with The Miz. The Miz has aligned with his better half Maryse Mizanin to lay waste to Edge. WWE Universe is speculating a returning Beth Phoenix in WWE Raw to align with her husband Edge to beat up the team ‘Miz & Maryse’. The possibility of a tag team match between these two real-life couples is creating excitement amongst the fans.
