WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber

On the latest episode of WWE Raw, the main event of WWE Elimination Chamber was announced. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be defending his title against 5 Superstars in a predictably brutal match.

WWE official Adam Pearce and Shane McMahon made the announcement on the opening segment of Raw. In fact, they also revealed the 5 other participants of the match. McIntyre will be facing former WWE Champions – Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Sheamus and The Miz.

In addition to this match, two more matches have been announced for the PPV. Bobby Lashley will be defending his United States Championship against Keith Lee and Riddle. The Raw Women’s Championship will also be on line, with Asuka going against Lacey Evans.

Elimination Chamber match has delayed Edge’s plans

Edge has delayed his plans of finalizing opponent for Wrestlemania

2021 Royal Rumble winner, Edge also made an appearance of Raw. He mentioned that he had gone face to face with every WWE Champion on each brand in the last week – McIntyre, Roman Reigns and Finn Balor.

But now he thinks that with McIntyre going against 5 opponents, the WWE Championship might change hands at the Elimination Chamber. Hence, he has decided to wait till WWE EC to decide which title he will be going after at Wrestlemania 37.

WWE Elimination Chamber airs live on 21st February, 2021.
