Brock Lesnar def Finn Balor at Royal Rumble 2018
Finn Balor is loved by all and has had a lot of success in his career. The leader of the Balor club is not only one of the most popular superstars in the world but is also one of the most athletic wrestlers in the whole world. The Demon King’s skill set and abilities are highly entertaining and not very easy to perform.
Balor became the first ever Universal Champion back in 2016 when he defeated the Architect Seth Rollins in a glorious match. But the Prince was forced to relinquish it due to a shoulder injury. This led to Finn Balor returning to WWE after some years and then challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship a few years later. Balor, during his storyline with Lesnar, revealed the unque experience he attained after battling Lesnar. Here’s what he said:
“That was a great night. Obviously Brock’s reputation proceeds himself. It’s very rare that you get feeling that he brings into the arena. The one thing I remember is that, you know, I’ve done my entrance, his music hits, he gets in the ring and it’s not an act and it’s not playtime. It’s very, very serious and it’s life or death.“
“And it’s a moment where you feel completely lost in what’s happening around you. You’re not acting, you’re not pretending, you’re not performing, you’re living in this moment. And you’re living in Brock Lesnar’s a world. It was that it was a very, very rare moment where you’re fully absorbed in what’s happening in the ring.” – Sportskeeda
Finn Balor now has his sights set at WrestleMania 38

The Prince is currently feuding with the United States Champion Damian Priest and may end up as the superstar to dethrone Priest as the champion. Balor would love to end the fairy tale of Priest thanks to the recent run he has had as the United States Champion. This could also lead to Balor getting the well deserved push and TV time every week which could lead to the WWE Universe loving the storylines.
But Balor may not end up as the United States Champion and head over to WrestleMania 38 non-title which could lead to another disappointment for the WWE Universe because it is very unlikely that WWE can build up another worthy storyline for the inaugural Universal Champion in just 6 weeks. Therefore, continuing the intriguing rivalry of Priest and Balor could be a good buildup for both the superstars at WrestleMania 38.
