WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 had 4 Title matches. 2 of these 4 Championship matches saw new Champions being crowned. Twitter completely erupted, especially with Randy Orton becoming a 14-time WWE World Champion. Sasha Banks also was crowned the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. Roman Reigns’ match stood out for the brutality and the drama in his match.

Randy Orton becomes 14-time Champion

Orton defeated McIntyre, to win his 14th WWE World Championship title. The Viper, soon after his win, addressed his transition from “Legend Killer” to a Legend.

One of the first reactions, after Orton’s win came from The Miz. He had won the Money in the Bank contract at Hell in a Cell after defeating Otis. His tweet indicates that he has already made up this mind, that which title he wants to go after. Him going against The Viper would be an interesting match up.

Prior to being a Legend, Randy Orton was a Legend Killer. one of his many victims was The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Despite being a victim to Orton’s attacks multiple times, Flair took to Twitter to congratulate him.

Roman Reigns retains against Jey Uso

Roman Reigns faced his cousin Jey Uso in an I Quit match, inside the steeled Hell, for the Universal Championship. Reigns scored a comfortable win in the match. Uso was unconscious for a significant part of the match. This wasn’t just a brutal match. but it also was high on drama, with Reigns breaking down during the match, only to strike again. post the match, he also tweeted that how as a Tribal Chief, he did what had to be done.

WWE Superstar Naomi, who is also the wife of Jimmy Uso was one of the first wrestlers to react to the match. As a consequence of this match, The Usos and their families, including Naomi, are no longer a part of the Samoan family.

Apart from being a great family feud, this match stood out for the quality as well. WWE Universe was quick to shower its love on the amazing match.

New Smackdown Women’s Champion – Sasha Banks

Former best friends went one on one inside the steel caged structure. Even she, hours after being crowned the Champ, announced to the world via Twitter to bow down to her.

Even her fans started showing love on Twitter. They claimed how she deseves to be the Champion much more than Bayley.

Other than these matches, WWE United States Championship was successfully defended by Bobby Lashley against Slapjack. Elias won against Jeff Hardy, via disqualification. R-Truth defeated Drew Gulak for the 24/7 Championship, at the Kick-Off.
