WWE confirms three huge matches for Extreme Rules 2021

Following the September 7, 2021 edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced three huge matches for Extreme Rules 2021. The weekly episode of Raw saw Charlotte Flair retain the Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax but the get confronted by Alexa Bliss. WWE has confirmed the Raw Women’s Championship match for the pay-per-view.

Raw Women’s Championship and United States Championship match confirmed for Extreme Rules 2021

Following Sheamus’ win against Drew McIntyre on Raw, WWE made a Summerslam rematch official. Damian Priest will defend the United States Championship against the Celtic Warrior Sheamus at Extreme Rules 2021. But, this match could be a triple threat match if McIntyre complains about the controversial win from Sheamus.

After Bobby Lashley and MVP won the tag tam turmoil match, keeping the opening segment between Randy Orton and Lashley in mind, WWE Championship match ahs been confirmed. The Viper Randy Orton will challenge the Almighty Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship.

These three championship matches could be very interesting if added a stipulation. The Raw Women’s Championship match could be a Falls Count Anywhere match which would enable the challenger show her powers. The United States Championship match could be made a Last Man Standing match pushing both the men to their limits. The WWE Championship match could be made an Extreme rules match which will help both the men look better.

Other matches that could be added to Extreme Rules 2021

Roman Reigns vs Finn Balor could be added at Extreme Rules 2021

Among the other matches, Roman Reigns could be facing Finn Balor or Brock Lesnar at the pay-per-view. Seth Rollins and Edge could be facing each other for one last time at the pay-per-view in an Extreme Rules match. Becky Lynch is scheduled to face Bianca Belair at the pay-per-view which could be another show stealer.

The kick-off show could see Baron Corbin facing Kevin Owens and taking revenge for every action from Owens. The event could also see the Usos defend the Smackdown Tag Team Championships against the Street Profits.
