Chris Hemsworth set to star in Hulk Hogan’s biopic

Hogan and Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth is all set to star in an upcoming Netflix biopic, which will be based on the life of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Coincidentally, both of these global Superstars share the same birthday (August 11th). While Hogan turned 68, Hemsworth rang in his 38th birthday.
It is quite surprising that Hogan’s professional wrestling career, which spans over four decades, is itself older than Hemsworth. But that will barely take anything away from his portrayal of Hogan. In fact, if his workout videos and images are anything to go by, Hemsworth is all set to deliver a mega blockbuster.
Hulk Hogan is quite popular for his massive frame. His muscle led to him weighing over 300 pounds and his power was such that he was one of the very few Superstars who could slam Andre The Giant around! It is quite obvious that his built played an immense role in his career and needs to be portrayed to perfection. From the looks of it, Hemsworth might be well on way to achieve the perfect look.
Hemsworth often shares his workout images and videos on his social media. It seems like he has gotten the Hulk Hogan stamp of approval. Hogan, just like the fans, feels like Hemsworth is quite successful in achieving the look.
Chris Hemsworth’s Hulk Hogan biopic could touch upon several dark phases

While Hulk Hogan is, inarguably, one of the biggest professional wrestlers in the world, his life has not always been as amazing as one may think. In 2007, a sex tape of his got leaked, which led to several controversies. But the darkest phase of his life could be when WWE completely cut-off all their ties from him.
This was due to the fact that Hogan was recorded using racial slurs. WWE even removed all content that was even remotely related to Hogan. This is one of the aspects that will definitely be a part of the Hemsworth-starring biopic. Hogan was later reinstated into the company after several public apologies and volunteering work.
Netflix’s Hulk Hogan biopic, starring Hemsworth hasn’t begun filming yet, and hence there is no release date locked in as of now. The movie will be directed by Todd Phillips, popularly known for Joker and the Hangover trilogy. Eric Bischoff is also rumored to be a part of the movie.
