“I would be completely terrified,” WWE’s most trending female superstar comments on her in-ring return

WWE Superstar Paige had to quit active in-ring action when she was just in her mid-twenties in 2018. The tragedy arose as a result of a neck injury that became catastrophic due to the reality that she had been wrestling since she was 13 years old. She looks to be unable to perform again under WWE’s supervision, despite the fact that there has been some hope for her return to the ring since last year.
Former WWE Superstar Paige is quite terrified

Paige is only 28 years old, and she still has a lot more wrestling left in her. Considering her tens of millions of fans across the world, it would be an amazing honour for WWE to have her return on the active roster as a star power player. However, WWE is notoriously stringent when it comes to concussion recovery, so we’ll have to wait and see what they do with the former Divas Champion. When Ringside News had an interview with Paige about her return to in-ring action, this is what the former Superstar had to say:
“And even if I was able to come back, it’s always that mental block now because I thought I was good to come back the first time I had neck surgery and I was like confident, I was still doing the same things I did prior even though I probably shouldn’t have been doing that, you know, like wrestling move-wise and then to come back again, I would be completely terrified,” Paige continued.
“Like in my head, I’m terrified to come back. Even if my heart is saying, ‘Yes! I would love to.’ It’s like getting over that mental block of ever being able to step back in the ring again,” she said.
Are there any hopes to see Paige back in action?
Paige is seeking to be medically authorized to wrestle once more. She did admit, though, that returning to the ring after more than three years away would be a difficult situation for her. She mentioned in a recent interview with Mark Andrews on My Love Letter to Wrestling that if she is ever cleared to compete again, she will be terrified, but she would love to.
While Paige hoped to return to the ring, there are wrestlers like Daniel Bryan and Edge who have overcome neck injuries and returned to the ring. So it looks that Sasha Banks‘ botched kick at a home show in December 2017 was not the last time we saw the anti-diva in action.
Also, there have been apparent rumours of Paige returning to action in the most-awaited Royal Rumble match. Paige has been teasing it for a while and fans now are really excited to see if that could actually happen. But will it happen or do we have to wait for some more time to see our Anti-Diva back, let’s wait and watch as the Royal Rumble pay-per-view airs on January 29th.
