Earlier reports suggested that WWE was planning major international PLEs in 2025, though nothing was officially confirmed. Among the speculated locations, Paris emerged as a potential destination if the company were to host an event in France. Now, a new report has surfaced, confirming that WWE is indeed set to hold its flagship European event in Paris in August 2025.

WrestleVotes reports that WWE will announce Clash in Paris later this week. The event will likely take place at Paris La Défense Arena, a venue primarily used for rugby. Although WWE has not confirmed it yet, reports suggest the show will take place on August 31, 2025. Clash in Paris will serve as this year’s edition of WWE’s annual international event, following Clash at the Castle in Scotland last year.

WWE has yet to confirm it, but Clash in Paris is expected to be another major international event, following the rumored Backlash in Mexico. Global icon Bad Bunny spoiled the Backlash’s location earlier this month. The emphasis on international events marks a significant change in WWE’s approach to its yearly calendar.

WWE plans to host two PLEs in Saudi Arabia this year, continuing last year’s pattern. With the company seemingly expanding its global presence, it will be interesting to see how WWE builds the card for these large-scale events. As the landscape of WWE continues to evolve, only time will tell how this ambitious international strategy unfolds.

Upcoming Premium Live Events of WWE in 2025

The road to WrestleMania 41 is heating up, and WWE is preparing to make it a memorable journey. While the company has yet to announce many of its PLEs for the year, the ones confirmed so far promise to be grand. To kick off 2025, WWE will head to Indianapolis, Indiana, for the Royal Rumble PLE, set to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium on February 1.

After the Royal Rumble, WWE will head to the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, for the Elimination Chamber. Meanwhile, WrestleMania 41, The Grandest Stage of Them All, will take place at the iconic Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Beyond WrestleMania, WWE has yet to officially announce any additional events for the year until August.

In August, WWE will make history by hosting its first-ever two-night SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in New York. Additionally, rumors suggest that WWE could bring PLEs to Italy and Japan later this year, marking the first-ever premium live events in both countries. Furthermore, WWE will bring Raw and SmackDown to Europe in March, further expanding its global presence.
