John Cena is undoubtedly one of the best WWE superstars and actors in the world. The wrestling legend is considered one of the most popular and loved superstars in the world. His tremendous achievements have been a proof of his abilities, performances and passion.
According to recent reports from Brad Shepard of Unleashed Patreon, the former multiple time World champion will make his return to WWE very soon. While future plans are yet to be known, the report claims that the franchise player will enter the ring once again in a couple of months from now and could be coming back once again for a month around SummerSlam 2022. Here’s what the report said:”
“I spoke with a source in WWE today, and they told me John Cena is expected back in late-June of this year. I don’t have a more specific time frame or the creative plan yet, but I do know he’ll be showing his face.” – Brad Shepard reported
When was John Cena last seen in WWE?
John Cena made a shocking return to WWE at Money in the Bank 2021 after a blockbuster main event match between Roman Reigns and Edge. Cena returned after the match finished and was happy to be back and that too in front of the WWE Universe.
Cena challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2021 but wasn’t able to complete the job and reach the goal of becoming the Universal Champion. The Franchise player not only lost the match but also was decimated by the returning Brock Lesnar who delivered a couple of F5s to Cena sending him back to Hollywood.
