“Miss it every single day”: 16-time World Champion John Cena misses full-time WWE role

Leader of Cenation
John Cena is the most successful WWE Superstar in the history of the company, in terms of the number of World Championship reigns. He has won the WWE World title 16 times in his career, which is an all-time record, jointly held with “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. He has earned these titles over a career that spans over two decades.
The Leader of Cenation was the face of the company for nearly an entire decade. While he helped the company in excelling in newer markets, Cena was able to become a global star in this process. Back in 2006, he also starred in The Marine, a Hollywood flick backed by the WWE Studios. He got a massive opportunity to showcase his acting prowess in the movie.
John Cena eventually decided to make the move to Hollywood and focus on his acting career. When he decided to pursue acting as a full-time career, his career in professional wrestling became limited to a few sporadic appearances. The WWE Universe started missing him, and Cena revealed that he misses WWE too.
Interestingly, 2021 was the biggest year in John Cena’s Hollywood career – with two massive blockbusters, The Suicide Squad and Fast & Furious. He even found an opportunity to return to WWE for an entire month. In a recent interview with GQ, the 16-time World Champion revealed that he misses performing on WWE.
“I miss it every day. Every single day. But I’ll be 45 on April 23rd, and I was very fortunate to make it as long as I did with only a minor list of injuries. Nothing that has changed the trajectory of my long term health. I’m strong, flexible, and in really good shape externally, internally. I think now, being a full-time touring performer might start to hit that point of diminishing returns,” mentioned the Leader of Cenation.
Charlotte Flair wants to be “female John Cena”

John Cena is the most successful Superstar in the history of the company, with 16 WWE World Championships. Among his female counterparts, Charlotte Flair holds a similar distinction. With 14 WWE World Championships to her name, she is the most successful woman in the history of the company, in terms of number of title reigns.
In an interview with DAZN, Flair had mentioned that she wants to be like the female version of Cena. “First, I want to say there will never be another John Cena. He has meant that much to the industry. But I do know when I first started, and to this day, that is who I want to mold myself after and be like…I want to be the female John Cena…I’m going to continue to work as hard and feel that I want to be that way with everything I do,” mentioned the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
