Kevin Owens Extreme Rules debut came in 2016 where he along with Cesaro and Sami Zayn lost a fatal 4-way match for the Intercontinental Championship to the Miz. In 2018, he won his first match at the event by escaping a steel cage and leaving Braun Strowman down.
In 2019, he attained his second victory by defeating Dolph Ziggler in a singles match. Not only that but he pinned Ziggler in unbelievable 17 seconds and shocked the roster. In 2020, he earned his third victory by defeating Murphy at the kick-off show of the pay-per-view.
