Trish Stratus made a huge resurgence in her already-Hall of Fame career over the past few years. The 48-year-old re-entered the world of professional wrestling and put on better matches than she ever had in the past. Although fans have not seen her in WWE for nearly 12 months, she will be making an appearance at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE.

Trish Stratus uploaded an Instagram story letting her fans know that she would be a part of the Money in the Bank pre-show festivities. She will be making a hospitality appearance prior to the show on Saturday at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto as part of her “Bad Girl Tour.” The event also takes place in her hometown, making her a huge ambassador for the PLE.

Fans holding the Gold Ticket package will get to witness her solo appearance a few hours before the show starts. Stratus will also be making an appearance alongside World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest as part of the Elite Ticket package.

The Hall of Famer was part of the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match last year, beating Raquel Rodriguez by DQ to qualify. Her protege at the time, Zoey Stark, was present alongside her. However, her heated rivalry with Becky Lynch, who was also in the match, caused both of them to cancel each other out, and neither walked away with the prize. They eventually settled their differences after The Man beat her in a Steel Cage match at Payback 2023. 

Bully Ray compares Tiffany Stratton to Trish Stratus ahead of her Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match

Tiffany Stratton has amazed the wrestling world since her debut in NXT. Her run on the main roster has bedazzled fans over the past few months, and she is a fan favorite heading into the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray agreed with this sentiment and even compared her to the 7-time Women’s Champion.

The ECW legend claimed that Tiffany Stratton has the potential to be the next Trish Stratus in WWE. He believed that she would be able to get over with fans regardless of the match outcome on Saturday. In the past, he has also stated that she does not even need the briefcase to boost her career to the next level. She is bound to enter the women’s main event picture in the near future. 

Ray added that someone he really wanted to see with the Money in the Bank briefcase was Chelsea Green. However, he did not think that it was going to happen, regardless of how much fans clamored for it. Her husband, Matt Cardona, has also repeatedly come out to say that the fans want to see The Hot Mess win the briefcase.
