Samoa Joe is one of the most athletic heavyweight superstars that the wrestling industry has seen in ages. The Submission Machine’s power is unmatchable and his accomplishments are none less than that. His career has seen a lot of injuries but his recovery has always amused the WWE universe.

Samoa Joe started his WWE career in the year 2015 and signed with NXT. His run in NXT saw some of the best matches of his career and his rivalries with the likes of Finn Balor are still cherished. He had won the NXT Championship twice before his debut in the main roster.

Samoa Joe is a former United States Champion

After his debut in main roster, he got the nickname of Samoan Submission machine because of his submission moves. He gained everyone’s respect since then and was one of the best superstars of 2017. In the same year, he was a part of one of the best matches in WWE history witnessed at Summerslam 2017 for the Universal Championship.

In 2019 he became the United States Champion but was soon taken off TV due to injuries. His injuries made him leave the in-ring career for sometime but soon, he started giving commentary on Monday Night Raw. In 2021, he was released by WWE but was soon re-signed with NXT. In the black and gold brand, he started as the assistant General manager but soon made his in-ring return and became a record 3-time NXT Champion.
