Smackdown Women's Champion

Charlotte Flair is the biggest name in the professional wrestling industry. She has been with the company since 2012 and today, she is the most successful woman in the history of the company. Flair has won the Raw Women’s Championship six times, Divas Championship once and is currently in her sixth reign as the Smackdown Women’s Champion.

Flair shocked the WWE Universe when she announced that she will be entering the Women’s Royal Rumble match as a Champion. WWE Hall of Famer Lita was one of the surprise entrants of the match. In the build-up to the match, the Hall of Famer and the Smackdown Women’s Champion teased their feud.

Even during the Women’s over-the-top elimination match, there were moments which teased a brewing rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Lita. The fact that Lita was eliminated by Flair almost made it certain that we will be getting a Wrestlemania match between two of the biggest women in the industry.

But things took a complete swerve when Royal Rumble chose Charlotte Flair as her Wrestlemania opponent. The WWE Hall of Famer was then put in an interesting feud with the Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. A Champion went against her childhood hero at the Elimination Chamber – and emerged victorious!

The WWE Hall of Famer recently appeared for an interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro where she mentioned that she would love to resume her feud against the Smackdown Women’s Champion as well as some other stars on the roster.

“I was really impressed with Rhea Ripley, I’d love to do something with her. Of course, pick up where I left off with Charlotte Flair. I think I would be lucky to step in with any of those women on the roster. There are some standouts. Bianca [Belair] is an incredible athlete. And, you know what, Nattie,” mentioned Lita.

The Smackdown Women’s Championship is already booked to be on the line at Wrestlemania 38. Women’s Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey will be challenging Charlotte Flair at the Showcase of Immortals. On the other hand, Lita has not been announced for the event.

Considering the massive crowd reception Lita received in Saudi Arabia, after her match – she clear has a massive fan following. This might have encouraged WWE to consider to book her again for upcoming events. While title matches have already been announced, Lita could be put against Heels like Alexa Bliss.
