The Viper Randy Orton has been in the talks for making his awaited return for a long time now. He has been away from WWE programming for 17 months now and could be seen returning anytime soon. The reports now support this cause and state WWE has begun their preparation for The Apex Predator.

The report by WrestleVotes said that new merchandise and branding for Randy is in work. Orton’s return is in plans now and will likely be around next month’s nearing PLE. The report added, “WWE will be presenting ‘large social media promotion material’ for the comeback,” which might give away the date.

To treat their last of the ‘Big 5’ PLE with grandeur, WWE has opened more seats for Survivor Series. This could be because Randy’s appearance should make more fans jump off their seats at Allstate Arena. His gimmick has not been confirmed but with the branding news, it would most likely be the babyface Orton. The 14-time champion might be blessing the RAW roster by making it watch-worthy every week.

Orton went through a lower back surgery last year and was recovering from it for the whole year. Meanwhile, he had hit the gym and kept his body in shape during the hiatus. The news about his awaited return was in more talks as he was around the Performance Center last month. The year-long wait is seemingly coming to an end now with these cheerful reports for the better sake.

Rev Theory supports the idea of awaiting Randy Orton’s return

“I hear voices in my head” are the hitting lines of Voices which hype up WWE Universe at all times. Randy Orton’s chilled entrance on the ramp with these verses in the back has been a tradition. And now the creators of the theme song, Rev Theory have hinted at Randy’s return saying, “The time is near.”

Rev Theory took on X to post a picture saying, Orton Voices with fumes in the air. A predator stood on the Apex of a structure, confidently seeing the bombardment. This all makes it obvious for a modified theme song for Randy when he makes his return to WWE.

While it cannot be confirmed that Orton will come out with a modified theme, the band’s involvement hints at it. Heavy rumors suggest Orton’s return around Survivor Series, possibly with a surprise appearance at an unexpected moment. Fans are eagerly anticipating the Viper’s return to the ring after 17 months.
