There have been reports that WWE is considering resumption of their live event touring early next year. A major part of the year has passed without WWE’s live events. Even their live TV tapings were being aired from their Performance Center with no audience in attendance. Currently they are aired from WWE’s Thunderdome with virtual fans in attendance.

During WWE’s recent Earnings Call for Q3, Chief Financial Officer Kristina Salen announced that WWE is planning to resume their live shows. She mentioned that the resumption will take place as quickly and safely as possible. Their live events have been on hold since the beginning of the pandemic in March.

WWE asks the fans’ opinion

WWE Thunderdome allows fans to attend virtually

The company recently issued a Fan Council Survey, to get an idea about the fans. The survey intended to gauge how comfortable the fans were with WWE resuming the live events. Focus of the survey was on the first three months of 2021. There was also a mention of the safety protocols that the fans deemed most necessary regarding the cleaning stations, individual seating pods and most importantly how like they are to return.

There is still no timetable on the live events. But the WWE TV shows will definitely not allow the fans before the live events. The TV tapings require much larger crowds than WWE allows on live events. Till then, fans can enjoy by attending WWE shows virtually at WWE’s Thunderdome.
