Ever since making her in-ring debut in WWE’s developmental territory, NXT, in 2013, Charlotte Flair quickly rose to prominence and was part of the “Four Horsewomen” faction. She made her main roster debut in 2015 and became one of the top female performers in WWE. Charlotte has won numerous championships and is the current SmackDown women’s champion. She has also inspired many young stars follow the path of wrestling.
Recently, young NXT star Tiffany Stratton mentioned her dream to feud with Charlotte. The 23 year old Stratton addressed the reason why she started wrestling while talking on “The Monsters in the Morning” Radio show. She opened up on her experience back when she didn’t use to watch wrestling. Stratton also praised Charlotte for her athletic abilities and charismatic appearance.
Stratton described, “I didn’t really watch it back then, but I would have to say the reason why I started wrestling was because I saw Charlotte Flair,” said Stratton. “I would say [she is my favorite female wrestler]… I think it was a Friday Night SmackDown, [me and my mom] were flipping through the channels. We saw Charlotte and immediately I was like, ‘oh my God, that is so cool. This jacked girl doing all these flips, she’s gorgeous.“
Stratton then described how her mom pushed her to try what she was watching on TV. Mentioning her mom, she said, “And my mom was like, “You could literally do that. You could literally pick that up so easily, it’s right up your alley.” Tiffany also addressed her dream to main-event WrestleMania. She said, “I would love to be on SmackDown or Raw. I would love to main event WrestleMania one day. I would love to feud with Charlotte Flair.”

Ever since winning the women’s Royal Rumble match, Rhea Ripley is set to headline the Show of Shows this year. Fans were wondering about Rhea challenging Bianca Belair since it was the rumoured match for WrestleMania. However, Ripley surprised everyone by challenging Charlotte Flair last week on Raw. While many fans are not happy with the announcement, there is no denying the history between Rhea and Charlotte is far more interesting than other alternatives.
The history between both women dates back to 2020, when Charlotte challenged Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship after winning that year’s Women’s Royal Rumble. The match between both for the NXT women’s title turned out as one of the best matches on the entire show. Rhea Ripley lost the title to “The Queen,” but the match elevated her as an upcoming star.
This year at WrestleMania, Ripley must be eyeing revenge on Charlotte after three years of wait. Charlotte, on the other hand, will try to stop Rhea and repeat history. The story is perfect to build the SmackDown women’s championship match around it. Both women have not come face-to-face until now this year, however, that shouldn’t take long.
