All In: London (via AEW)

AEW All In 2023 will be remembered in history as one of the most impactful events in the industry. For the first time in the history of the sport, a company that is not WWE has managed to create a buzz-worthy enough event to sell more than 80,000 tickets. This made All-In the largest-ever event in the history of professional wrestling, as it surpassed the records set in 2016 by WrestleMania 32.

AEW is firing on all cylinders to promote its biggest event to date. The biggest names in the industry are setting up their matches for the event and creating hype among the fans. As only one episode each of Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision has yet to air before All In, most of the matches are now announced. Except for one or two matches that will be announced close to the event, the match card is shaping up to be an all-timer.

Aussie Open vs. MJF and Adam Cole (ROH World Tag Team Championship)

This match is part of the buildup for the main event of All In, as Adam Cole and MJF face each other for the AEW World Championship. On a recent episode of Dynamite, Adam Cole said that he had won almost everything in ROH when he used to work there. However, the tag titles have always eluded him; therefore, he wants to win them with his best friend.

The match will be taking place at All In: Zero Hour, which is the pre-show for the event. It will be primarily focused on the story between Cole and Friedman. Despite the Aussie Open being a good tag team, they might not get a chance to highlight their talent here. However, it has been teased a lot that Cole might turn on MJF, costing them the match. Therefore, the Aussie Open might secure victory at the cost of Adam Cole’s betrayal, thus turning heel on MJF.

FTR vs. The Young Bucks (AEW World Tag Team Championship)

The rivalry between FTR and the Young Bucks goes back a long time. Even before the formation of AEW, the two had clashed on the independent circuit multiple times. Therefore, when the match was announced for Wembley, fans were in for a banger, as the two teams have excellent chemistry. Their previous encounters in AEW have been considered some of the greatest tag team matches of all time. Therefore, the bar is set high for them to perform on a stage like All In.

The buildup for this match is basically about which team gets the right to call itself the greatest team of all time. Both teams are equally likely to win it, as both have huge fan bases. They are also equally important to the company when it comes to drawing numbers. The last time the two clashed, FTR was able to get the win. Therefore, fans should expect the Young Bucks to win this time around. This would free up FTR to get into a trio competition with CM Punk in the future.

Hikaru Shida vs. Toni Storm vs. Saraya vs. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. (AEW Women’s World Championship)

The Women’s Fatal Four way was mainly set up as an homage to the original All In, which also had a fatal four-way between four women from Impact, ROH, and NWA. Britt Baker was also a part of that match, as she sets her sights on winning the title once again in AEW. Saraya will be performing in London after a very long time; therefore, she will have her hometown support advantage.

Toni Storm is going through a character change, while Shida has momentum in her favor as she has been defending her title on a weekly basis since winning the title. Therefore, all four women will go all in for the match. It could be anyone’s match as all four women are serious contenders for the title; however, Hikaru Shida will most likely retain her title as it is too soon for her to lose her championship.

Darby Allin and Sting vs. The Mogul Embassy (Tag Team Coffin match)

Darby Allin and Swerve Strickland share a history from their days as independent wrestlers. Adding AR Fox to the mix, the story goes back years. Therefore, the feud is very personal, and therefore, all men would make sure that they gave their best to get the victory. Despite being over 62 years old, Sting refuses to give up and thus surprises fans with amazing moves that are too dangerous for his age.

Like a few other matches on the card, due to the history between the men involved, the match will be extremely brutal. Being a coffin match, multiple props will be used by all men. However, Sting and Darby Allin are probably going to get the victory, as Darby might move into a championship feud with Christian, as seen on the latest episode of Collision.

The Golden Elite vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Bullet Club Gold

Don Callis turning on Kenny Omega resulted in this match, as Callis contracted Bullet Club Gold and Konosuke Takeshita to take on Omega and his friends. Therefore, Hangman Adam Page, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega will take on Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Konosuke Takeshita. This match is highly anticipated by fans, as this will only be the second match for Ibushi in years.

The match will be extremely hard-hitting, as all six men will put in their maximum effort to knock out their opponents. However, the Golden Elite will most likely come out on top, as this feud might not continue for a very long time. Jay White and Juice Robinson are staples from Collision, while Omega and Page regularly appear on Dynamite. Therefore, this might just be a one-time match for fans.

Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy and Best Friends vs. Blackpool Combat Club and unknown partners (Stadium Stampede match)

The feud between BCC and the Best Friends started when Jon Moxley attacked Orange Cassidy and knocked him out after one of his matches on Dynamite. Both groups are extremely popular with the fans, and therefore, the match is highly anticipated by everyone. Stadium Stampede was a hit when it was used for the first time. Unfortunately, it was during the pandemic era; therefore, fans were not present for the match.

Therefore, with over 80,000 fans in attendance for a match like Stadium Stampede, viewers should expect a lot of violence and brutal graphics from all the men involved. No word has been made on the mystery partners for BCC. However, fans are expecting it to be Shota Umino from NJPW and Santana and Ortiz, who have been out of action for a long time. The BCC will probably win the match, thus setting up a singles feud between Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy.

Will Ospreay vs. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho has seen a career revival like never before in the past year. He is better than ever physically and is also involved in great storylines. The latest one was with his longtime friend Don Callis. On the last episode of Dynamite, Callis turned on Jericho as he called up Will Ospreay to combat Y2J. Will attacked Chris Jericho and knocked him out in his own blood.

Therefore, the match will undeniably be brutal and bloody. Being in his hometown, Will Ospreay will receive a huge crowd reaction, and Chris Jericho will also receive a huge ovation as he is a legend in the industry. According to the rumors, Will Ospreay is probably going to get the victory in this match. However, the victory might involve some kind of foolery, as Jericho cannot lose cleanly at this point in the storyline.

CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe (Real World Championship)

Since returning to AEW programming on Collision, CM Punk has been crossing paths with Samoa Joe. The two share a history dating back to 2004, making the feud extremely personal for both men. Therefore, Punk and Joe will try to destroy each other in front of 80,000 people, which will undoubtedly be spectacular. The match was made official on the latest episode of Collision, when Punk disguised himself as a random wrestler and jumped Samoa Joe before his match.

The match will be hard-hitting and brutal for fans, as the two men have great chemistry and will not fail to perform on a stage as big as Wembley. However, Samoa Joe cannot win the match considering the expected feuds in the future for both men. Punk is carrying around his “Real World Championship,” which, according to him, he never lost. Therefore, CM Punk will most likely win at Wembley, moving on to the feud with his championship.

MJF vs. Adam Cole (AEW World Championship)

The buildup for Adam Cole vs. MJF has been one of the best builds to any feud in the history of the company. It is counted among the likes of MJF vs. CM Punk and Kenny Omega vs. Hangman Adam Page, which is a great deal. Both men have executed their roles to perfection. Therefore, fans still cannot call the shots and determine if Adam Cole turns on MJF or if MJF turns on Adam Cole.

After whatever happens in the pre-show match between the two, fans should expect a high-drama main event between Cole and MJF. According to the rumors, there were no plans for MJF to drop the title to Adam Cole. However, AEW could swerve the dirt sheets and make Adam Cole turn on MJF, defeating him with illegal methods. Thus turning MJF face in the process, looking at the popularity he has had in the past year.
