‘The Phenomenal One’ AJ Styles is widely regarded as one of the finest wrestlers of all time. There are numerous people he is generally compared to, and there is another famous name he is getting compared to nowadays. Bret Hart, a WWE Hall of Famer, is presently being compared to Styles.
There is a massive internet rivalry between these two individuals to see who is the GOAT. Both have not replied to this internet feud, but several significant figures in the wrestling industry have been expressing their thoughts on what is going on.
Road Dogg, a WWE Hall of Famer, also remarked on this on the Oh You Didn’t Know Podcast. He discussed which wrestler side he is now on and who is the GOAT. He believes that AJ Styles is the better of the two because of how hard he has been working. Although Styles is not very quick in the ring right now, he has provided a lot of entertainment since 2016.
Road Dogg said, “He [Styles] is a better wrestler. He has been working very hard ever since he showed up at the [Royal] Rumble. He’s older now and he’s slower now and he wants to work smarter now, but when he first got here. I think he was very much in his prime, the road puts it on you and that life.”
What is next for AJ Styles?
In recent months, AJ Styles has been embroiled in a feud with Finn Balor and the Judgment Day. He has been feuding with this faction since this year’s WrestleMania and has successfully won the rivalry. He had a great encounter against Finn Balor at the latest WWE PLE Survivor Series, which was a spectacular match.
Styles and Balor had another match after their first one was not completed, however this time they battled alongside their team. On Raw after Survivor Series, Judgment Day faced AJ Styles, The OC, and Mia Yim in a four-on-four mixed tag team match.

They all put on a tremendous display, but in the end, Judgment Day took the win, raising the issue of what comes next for the former World Champion. There are speculations that there are no real plans for the time being, but WWE will definitely employ AJ Styles adequately in 2023.
