When Vince McMahon initially resigned from the position as chairman in July 2022, his son-in-law, Triple H, took command. Many fans, WWE superstars, and employees have noticed a sudden change in the environment within the company. In light of that, AJ Styles has revealed the changes they felt under Hunter’s regime.

The Phenomenal One gave an interview to Tim & Eli on Battleground and spoke in detail about the major change under Hunter’s regime. He shed light on one of the most important topics, and that was many wrestlers losing their jobs when Vince McMahon was in charge. Styles further added that Triple H is the opposite and cares about each and every talent. A sentiment echoed by many wrestlers.

AJ Styles stated that now the wrestlers could have the job as long as they wanted and do the work they loved. The 46-year-old said that many wrestlers who lost their jobs under Vince’s regime shouldn’t have been released. However, in his opinion, that issue was gone with the 14-time world champion in charge.

The Phenomenal One recently returned from an injury in a darker persona, which fans liked very much. He began feuding with LA Knight and even flew across the world just to attack him at Elmination Chamber. Now, after trying to destroy each other for the past few weeks, they will finally meet at WrestleMania.

AJ Styles talks about the possibility of a WWE debut for Tama Tonga

The Phenomenal AJ Styles also talked about NJPW star Tama Tonga joining WWE. They are no strangers to each other, as they were both part of the legendary faction, Bullet Club. Styles feels that he should’ve joined the Stamford-based company a long time ago.

The 46-year-old veteran talked about him in the same interview and said if he arrives in WWE, the sky is the limit for him. He revealed that Tama showed little to no interest in joining the company; however, he should come to WWE if he feels like it.

The sky is the limit. This guy can get after it. I know how good Tama is. The fact that he may be coming over would be awesome.
