One of the few superstars who had married fellow wrestlers of WWE includes former Divas Champion Paige. The former WWE superstar had engaged former WWE Champion Alberto del Rio back in October 2016 but the relationship couldn’t last long and the two decided to split up in 2017 officially announcing the fact around the globe.
The two former WWE superstars have had a very controversial relationship with each other and have not ended up the controversies even after spliting up. Instead old stories of the former friends have only heated up their relationship status in a negative way paving a way for a lot of people making fun of the two former champions.
Alberto del Rio claimed that Paige had broken a huge confidentiality agreement a few years ago
About an year ago, Alberto Del Rio sat in an interview Hugo Savinovich of Lucha Libre Online and had discussed about his relationship with Paige. While explaining the details, Del Rio claimed that the former Divas champion had broke a $1 million confidentiality agreement which turned out to make things even worse.
Del Rio also revealed that if they were on the same page, he along with Paige could build an empire for themselves but they were never really on the same page which led to things always going the wrong side. Not only that but he also revealed that they both had huge talent that could bring them a lot forward but they continued to go backwards right when they engaged. Here’s what he said:
“Paige and I could have built an empire together, because of our talents, because of what was around us. But unfortunately due to the situations, instead of taking advantage and growing as a couple, we did the opposite. We dedicated ourselves to doing things that were not they were productive neither for our careers nor for our lives.” – Alberto Del Rio said during the interview
