“I’m really proud of you”; Alberto Del Rio sends an encouraging message to Ricardo Rodriguez

Alberto Del Rio is a personality known by a huge number of WWE fans around the world. His career has both achievements and controversies in it. Alberto Del Rio made his wrestling debut on SmackDown in 2008. He portrayed an image of a pompous Mexican personality. Arriving at the ring in flashy clothes and expensive cars was his niche. He was always escorted by his manager Ricardo Rodriguez.
Rodriguez signed off from WWE in July 2014. He went on to make his debut in World Wrestling Council in the same year. The star achieved a year of alcohol sobriety in May this year. Rodriguez achieved this through therapy and time.
Alberto Del Rio recently praised his former ring announcer and manager, Ricardo Rodriguez in an interview. In an interview with Sportskeeda, Del Rio praised Robert for his intense nature. He also compared Robert as his own son.
“We talked on the phone and I told him how proud I am because it’s not easy to face your mistakes and to overcome those situations but he’s back, he’s healthy, he’s strong and he’s hungry. Life has taken him into that difficult path but he has proved the world that he is someone. He’s a good man and then he needs to be deserving that other opportunity that he’s getting right now.”
“Ricardo, I’m proud of you! Me muchacho as I used to call him my boy, my son, I’m really proud of you, continue doing what you’re doing and you will get your reward, I love you man!” stated Del Rio.”
Alberto Del Rio teases his return

Del Rio is the only WWE superstar to win Royal Rumble and MITB in the same calendar year. He is also a four times WWE World Champion. He also once almost participated in the Olympics representing as the Mexican Wrestler but was backed out due to financial problems by the Mexican Wrestling association.
Del Rio said he might return, but he’s not certain about it just yet, in the same interview. Post WWE, Del Rio tried his strength in IMPACT Wrestling and on the independent circuit. He currently does Spanish commentary on Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
