Vince McMahon is often regarded as Godfather of the professional wrestling industry. His contributions to this business will be remembered eternally even though he stepped down as the CEO and Chairman of WWE back in July.

Many believe that the never-ending impediment of controversies coming his way was the prime reason for his retirement. The Wall Street Journal was the first one to break out McMahon’s multi-million hush money scandal. He was alleged of putting the curtain over various illegal s*x affairs he once was a part of.

As part of the testimonies, a female employee was the victim of receiving oral lessons from the 76-year old and the two parties also signed an NDA a few years back to close this chapter for once and all. As the pressure kept building up, Vince McMahon temporarily gave up administrative powers for the time being but he didn’t knew that it was going to be the permanent case forever.

Few weeks passed and WSJ scouted another case against the CEO adding to his woes. Considering the heavy influence of Board members and to preserve his self-dignity, McMahon announced his WWE retirement in all sorts via an official Tweet. The groundbreaking reveal came as a hurricane for the wrestling community and it was counted as the biggest day in the history of this business.

There were not many people who claim bad blood with Vince McMahon but Ole Anderson was one among the few. To those who aren’t aware, Anderson was part of the original – The Four Horsemen formed back in 1986. The veteran never came up on the same page as McMahon and he also missed the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony of The Four Horsemen.

AEW commentator Tony Schiavone recently disclosed some more details to the Anderson-McMahon saga during the recent episode of What Happened When podcast. Tony mumbled about an incident where Vince arrived at the TBS studios to resolve his differences with Anderson. However, instead of having a conversation, Ole did the unexpected and told the Chairman and his wife Linda to “F*** Themselves”.

“Vince comes to the TBS studios during the takeover and he wanted to extend the hand of friendship to Ole. He says, ‘and here is my wife Linda.’ Ole’s line was, ‘you and your wife can go fuck yourselves.’ Something to that effect. He regretted that. That is old school and a guy [Anderson] who loved the territories and loved the old school, and a guy [McMahon] who was changing the wrestling business.”
