Austin Theory has been one of the talented Superstars on the current roster and is known as Vince McMahon’s prodigy, as he is handpicked by him to be the next star of the company and also because Vince saw his golden boy John Cena in Austin Theory. Austin Theory has been compared to the company’s franchise player and now a Hollywood star John Cena. Austin’s physique and heel character is similar to that of a young John Cena. Currently, Theory holds the MITB contract and is just waiting for the right opportunity to cash in.

Austin Theory is not having a great time since his MITB contract win and has failed two cash ins since the win, which he attempted at the SummerSlam and Clash at the Castle Live events. Theory is currently involved in a feud with his former ally Johnny Gargano, whom he smashed with his briefcase this week on RAW, following Gargano’s win over the Alpha Academy.

Gargano had previously Superkicked Austin Theory on the edition of RAW, where he marked his return to the WWE. Austin was also busted open by Kevin Owens after the latter had become irate due to Theory’s monotonous promos every week. The two were involved in a brawl and were separated by the officials.

The Former United States Champion is praised for his portrayal of a cocky arrogant heel, whom the crowd always dislikes and showers boos. Theory, too plays the part effortlessly and makes sure that he is in character on social media too. Recently, he mocked the WWE Universe sharing a video him dominating Rey Mysterio at a Live event and said “Hate me now? #thatsalldaytheory #atowndown.”

Following the RAW confrontation with Kevin Owens, Austin Theory came on RAW Talk, where he stated that he isn’t given opportunities, but rather earns them, and recalled beating Kevin Owens to qualify for the Elimination Chamber position. He also stated that he was the only wrestler to make it to the end of the Elimination Chamber match, which was won by Brock Lesnar after pinning him.

Austin Theory stated that after beating one of the greatest in the industry, Finn Balor, he became the youngest US Champion and defended it multiple times until losing to Bobby Lashley. Austin Theory stated that he is weary of people attempting to dismiss his accomplishments, for which he has worked hard, and that he is the company’s future.
