”I’ll be seeing you later tonight” Austin Theory recalls his backstage interaction with stone cold before getting stunned

WrestleMania 38 was a surprise huge hit, with many anticipating a very lacklustre spectacle, but WWE pulled out all the stops. The match between former NFL Star Pat McAfee and Austin Theory was one of the more unpredicted highlights of WrestleMania 38. Austin Theory and commentator Pat McAfee went head to head at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, which resulted in Theory losing the match.
After the match Austin Theory and Vince McMahon started beating Pat down. The WWE Chairman then surprised everyone by challenging Pat McAfee to a match, which was the initial plan before it was revealed Austin Theory would be McAfee’s opponent. Mr. McMahon won the bout after Theory got involved in the match. After the match as Pat McAfee was being beaten up and Stone Cold Steve Austin decided to level the field. Steve Austin entered the ring and stunned Austin Theory with a Stunner and later gave a stunner to Vince McMahon and Pat McAfee as well.

Austin Theory revealed Stone Cold instructed him to wait for a signal before attacking him

In an Instagram video uploaded by user Ryan Satin Austin Theory is seen talking about the time he got know that he would be working with Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Current WWE United states champion while speaking on After the bell said :
“Yeah, for me, that day, I literally, like, there was so much going on and I think the thing that set it off for me was meeting Stone Cold Steve Austin, meeting him in the back and he was going to get on a golf cart and they’re riding him around. And before he got on, I was, like, hey, ‘I just wanted to introduce myself, I’m Austin,’ and he went to shake my hand and he was like, ‘oh, very nice to meet you. I’ll be seeing you later tonight,’ and I was like, ‘wait, what?'”
