“I think we all have a feeling that this interaction is going to happen very soon.” Austin theory on possibility of facing John Cena

Austin Theory who is the former revolve champion has had an interesting few month in his career. Post Wrestlemania 38 Theory has managed to capture the WWE United States championship defeating Finn Balor in the process. The Current WWE United States champion Theory began to gain momentum after an excellent match with Patt Mcaffe at Wrestlemania, which saw him share a ring with his mentor Vince McMahon.

Austin Theory has recently been working on television with Vince McMahon and has had a consistent push since then. It was previously stated that McMahon saw Theory in the same light as a young John Cena. Theory and Cena have been seen taking shots at each other on social media which began when theory tagged Cena in a video of him taunting a young Cena fan.

Austin Theory could face John Cena in the ring for the first time

The Leader of Cenation is set to appear on Raw later this month to celebrate his 20^th anniversary with the company. The reigning WWE United states champion had some interesting words when he was was asked about John Cena’s return.

In an Interview with Ryan Satin on Out of Character theory had this to say

“Each week just seems like it flies by. I feel like I just was doing NXT and The Way, then I was doing Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble, then I was with Pat McAfee at WrestleMania, getting a Stunner by Stone Cold, main eventing MSG with Brock Lesnar, it’s been wild and happening fast. I don’t even think it’s been a year. I think we all have a feeling that this interaction is going to happen very soon. Could it be when John Cena returns? I don’t see why not,”

With both Austin theory and John Cena going at each other on social media and with Cena returning to the wwe in a long time the two superstars are likely to come face to face. McMahon is a big fan of Austin Theory and will likely continue to promote him. A SummerSlam match would be ideal as fans are eager to see Cena return to the ring.
