Many key players in WWE at this point are away from in-ring action. Charlotte Flair is one such name, who was injured last year in December in her match against Asuka. It seems that the multi-time Women’s Champion is doing well on her route of recovery and is staying punctual to her return timeline.

PW Insider recently reported how Flair had a successful knee surgery in Alabama. Her rehab is also taking place in Birmingham, Alabama and she seems to be doing well resting at her home. If things go well for the Queen, fans can expect to see her back by the fall of 2024. Meaning it could take place around the month of October.

Charlotte is someone who has updated her fans at every point of her recovery journey. She recently shared her rehab session video from the training facility. Her injury was an outcome of a botched Spanish Fly from the top rope. Post that spot, Flair immediately received medical attention and has remained absent from WWE Programming.

It seems Flair’s on-screen character resonates well with her real persona. Despite the obstacles, she has been seen with a broad smile and was even there to support her husband, Andrade El Idolo at AEW Worlds End. For the time being, Flair has been on the receiving end of warm wishes from co-workers and fans alike.

Former Women’s Champion can replace Charlotte Flair for a major Rivalry

WWE SmackDown’s Roster has been facing a lack of noteworthy babyface in the women’s division. However, it seems the void created by Charlotte Flair could finally be filled by the rumored returning superstar, Naomi. She could fill in the shoes for Flair to face the EST, Bianca Belair.

While Naomi is yet to make her return, the wrestling community has already started making plans for it. There exists a plethora of possibilities, however, it would be a great tussle between two of the greatest athletes that WWE Women’s Division has ever seen.

On the other hand, it would be a fine opportunity for the EST who has been engaging with the Damage CTRL for months. Adding a fresh face into the equation could act as a springboard for uplifting the career of Belair from stagnating waters.
