Is Monday Night Raw an overdose for top women's faction?
Monday Night Raw just feels alright once again and the show has flown better since the arrival of Triple H as creative head. With his introduction, Hunter shook the roster significantly and brought in many NXT superstars as part of their long overdue main-roster call up, a thing which should’ve been done way before.
Days after assuming the creative rights, Hunter brought back Dakota Kai and IYO SKY (formerly as Io Shirai) alongside Bayley, who made her WWE return after an year recovering from a torn ACL. The trio showed up at Summerslam this year and the crowd in the Nissan Stadium went nuts to witness them together.
It’s been over 2 months since their unprecedented formation and we’ve got a much better picture of what they can do collectively. Although, there is Championship gold stuck around Kai and SKY which they grabbed few weeks ago putting down Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah on Monday Night Raw.
They aren’t doing anything out of the box at the moment as per the general perception. To be very honest, the WWE Universe had unreal expectations from the group which so far met a disappointing fate, sadly. Triple H still continues with them being the heavy feature of their 3 hour Monday Night Raw programming.

Wrestling personality expresses his disappointment for Bayley on Monday Night Raw
Bayley earned a Raw Women’s Title shot against Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules in a Ladder match. The Role Model fought tooth to nail in pursuit of capturing the gold but failed miserably in the process. Her girls, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY even tried to outplay the EST of WWE by interfering in the match but they too received the desired treatment.
Bayley even lost to Candice LeRae this past Monday Night on Monday Night Raw via surprise pinning combination worsening the matter for her. WCW personality, Konnan, recently put his perception in front of his audience during his “Keepin’ it 100” Podcast. The veteran harshly spoke for Dakota Kai calling her someone with “zero personality”. He alleged both of those girls as the reason for putting down Bayley.
“They invest a lot of time on these girls [Damage CTRL], and Dakota Kai has zero personality. She’s got that Mike Pence personality which is absolutely none. When she talks, she’s cricket inside the tumbleweeds. There’s nothing there, and these two girls have dragged Bayley down. They did nothing to make me wanna see them.”
