The on-screen rivalry between Bayley and Michael Cole has been quite fascinating. During the pandemic, the Role Model criticized Cole for his commentary, sparking heated exchanges that continued on WWE SmackDown episodes. Years later, their feud culminated in a match, with Kayla Braxton dressed as Michael Cole.

During the pre-show segment on SmackDown, Bayley came out to issue a challenge. She casually asked for anyone to come out and face her in the ring. To her surprise, WWE backstage interviewer Kayla Braxton came out to Michael’s theme song and wore the ring gear that resembled Cole’s singlet. Cole, quite surprised to see Kayla pull out the stuff, laughed throughout as it was indeed a hilarious segment.

Cole was chucked and asked Braxton, “Where did you get the gear!?” but she went unanswered. Kayla was enjoying her entrance and got in the ring to take on Bayley. Braxton then showed her will to fight but then cowered back for The Role Model to pin her and get the win. Michael Cole was laughing throughout the moment. He said, “I don’t cower like that!” and hilariously stated that his streak was broken.

Michael Cole has been a commentator in WWE for 26 years but has also wrestled for a while. He made his in-ring debut most unexpectedly with Jerry “The King” Lawler. Seen as a replacement for “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, he competed against Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase on Raw.

Bianca Belair gained momentum before Crown Jewel by defeating Bayley

WWE had already taped The November 3, 2023, episode of SmackDown. It is because the company will be traveling to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel on Saturday Night (November 4). Thus, there have been spoilers all over the internet. Bianca Belair wrestled Bayley on the go-home edition of the show to get momentum before her title match.

In the main event of the show, Bianca took on Bayley and managed to put down The Damage CTRL too, despite their interference. The closing moments saw The Role Model drag The EST of WWE with her long hair. But it turned out in Belair’s favor when she attacked Bayley’s abdomen with her strong hair.

The aftermath even saw Bianca Belair apply her finisher KOD to Bayley on the announcer’s table. The clip has not been found, but the faction’s attack later on must have triggered her. It will be interesting to see the EST take on Iyo at Crown Jewel 2023 for the WWE Women’s Championship.
