Recently, WWE reverted to two-man commentary teams ahead of the new year. As a result, Michael Cole was removed from the SmackDown booth, with Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick retaining their spots. One of the veteran’s ‘rivals’, Bayley, reacted to the news ahead of the episode.

The former Women’s Champion expressed her joy on her X account. She spoke on behalf of the SmackDown roster by claiming that nobody would miss him. Therefore, she has continued to fire shots at Cole amidst their ongoing feud. For years, Bayley has taken the opportunity to make the 55-year-old’s stint miserable.

Prior to the Halloween special edition of SmackDown, the Damage CTRL leader issued an open challenge. Subsequently, Kayla Braxton answered it, hilariously coming out dressed in Michael Cole’s 2011 in-ring gear. The backstage personality ended up ‘losing’, ending the commentator’s undefeated steak as well.

Since Vince McMahon‘s departure, Cole has gained more freedom, notably gaining the respect of the WWE Universe in the process. Despite being removed from the Blue brand, he will most definitely continue on Raw and Premium Live Events. Meanwhile, Bayley is focused on regaining control over her group. The 34-year-old will face Bianca Belair on next week’s edition of SmackDown.

The Royal Rumble season has arrived. With many superstars declaring for the marquee battle royal, the road to WrestleMania will shortly commence. One of the wrestlers who is regarded as the favorite to win the women’s match is Bayley.

Over the past couple of months, the 34-year-old has seemingly lost control over her faction, Damage CTRL. With the introductions of Kairi Sane and Asuka, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai have kept their protege in the dark about major decisions. Therefore, Bayley has concocted a plan to ensure that she doesn’t lose control over the stable.

The Role Model declared herself for the Royal Rumble match, setting her sights on the Women’s World Title. However, fans believe that if she does end up buying her ticket to the main event, it won’t be to face the World Champion. Instead, a betrayal by Damage CTRL might lead her to challenge the Genius of the Sky at the Showcase of Immortals.
