Bayley wrestled her first televised match after a year on 22nd August edition of RAW. She defeated Smackdown superstar Aliyah in a singles match. The match proved that Bayley is fully ready to wrestle and can be dominating in the ring just as she was in the match. The Role Model’s Stable has been called as “DAMAGE CTRL” and they are set to face Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss in a six woman tag match at Clash at the Castle Live event. Bayley has been outstanding in her heel turn, with some calling it her best work in WWE.
The last time Bayley wrestled for the SmackDown Women’s Championship was at WrestleMania Backlash against Bianca Belair, wherein she was defeated. The Role Model again failed to win the title at Hell in a Cell after which she was slated to have a match against Belair at the MITB Live event but was injured and the match was cancelled. The last Championship The Role Model held was the SmackDown Women’s Championship, which she held for a record 380 days before losing to Sasha Banks at Hell in a Cell 2020.

Bayley had revealed about the advice she got from AJ Lee
Bayley was signed to WWE in 2012 and made her in-ring debut on NXT Brand in March 2013, where she lost against Paige. Bayley said on The New Day’s Feel The Power podcast in 2020 that during her early days at NXT, AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler had been on one of her shows, and that AJ Lee encouraged her to be herself and go with the flow.
AJ assured Bayley that she will discover herself in the middle of her career and learn out how this profession works. She stated that the advice was really beneficial to her, and that was the time she let herself to be simply herself and find out the best she could and wrestle, resulting in the desired change.
Back in 2021, During an edition of episode of Corey Graves’ WWE After the Bell podcast. Bayley had spoken about the influence that AJ Lee has on her career. She stated that she cannot mention all of the ladies who helped build her career, but she will always be grateful to and appreciate AJ Lee for shaping her career. AJ, according to Bayley, altered her life and taught us to be ourselves. The Role Model described AJ as an inspiration to many young women.
“Obviously I can’t name all the women that have helped us, but I always have to give credit to AJ [Lee]. She changed my life when she just said it’s okay to be myself. Her whole thing was stay weird and be yourself, and she dressed how she wanted to and it inspired so many girls. There’s a lot of women that people don’t even realize have made this all possible.”
Bayley, along with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky will face Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss in six women tag match at Clash at the Castle Live event.
