Bayley is a woman on a mission. Tonight on SmackDown, she’ll go one-on-one with Dakota Kai. It’s going to be their inaugural singles encounter on the main roster. And hours before they step into that squared circle, the former Damage CTRL leader has something to say. She quoted a reply to Dakota’s post where she posted a GIF from SummerSlam 2022, the event that witnessed Damage CTRL’s birth.

Kai said that Bayley‘s fairytale is ending. However, the latter turned the tide on her. The Role Model instead asked Dakota to gather whatever she could and come at her with all guns blazing. The former Women’s Champion said so as she’s planning to bring her best to the table and hopes her ex-ally will follow suit. Bayley ended her note by saying that she can’t wait to show Kai how big of an idiot she is.

If one looks at it, Bayley’s insecurities are well and truly justified. Heading into this year, she had unprecedented aspirations lined up for Damage CTRL, as she was still the driving force back then. However, one fine day, she succumbed to a well-orchestrated ploy. At first, Iyo Sky and the Kabuki Warriors did the damage.

And after a few weeks of hide and seek, Dakota also withdrew her support from The Role Model. In a few hours from now, Bayley and Dakota Kai will go at each other. However, there’s going to be a 4-on-1 disadvantage for the woman who’s going to challenge Iyo Sky for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.

Dakota Kai’s fierce reply to Bayley heats up the matter

Bayley’s acerbic jousting did not sit well with Dakota Kai. As a result, she swiftly hit back at the former Hugger. The Kiwi wrestler said that Bayley will see the best of her, as she’s no more under The Role Model’s shadow.

Kai oozed resentment over career-long comparisons with the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match winner. Dakota accused Bayley of demeaning her as a safe bet. At last, the 35-year-old said she’s hoping to see her former leader break. By and large, Bayley’s outnumbered at the moment, and she’ll need some backup.
