“He is intimidating as hell when he walks by and you want to make sure you’re on your best behavior” – Bayley reveals her experience with Vince McMahon

Bayley responded

WWE superstar Bayley recently appeared in Steve Austin’s podcast, “The Steve Austin Show.” She discussed a wide range of themes related to her life and career. Bayley also discussed her friendship with WWE superstar Vince McMahon. She claims he is very intimidating and that conversing with him was tough at first. Here’s what she had to say:

Bayley said, “I feel comfortable talking to Vince, which seems so crazy for me to say. For me, I’ve been a fan, I’ve been watching him forever, and I’m like, ‘yeah, I’m comfortable to talk to Vince McMahon.’ Yeah, but if it was something I felt really strongly about, like I had the perfect idea, and I have the direction I want. I want ideas. I want kind of… I’m not going to go in there and be like, ‘hey, I feel weird – maybe I should change a little bit.’

She continued, “I want to have exactly the idea of what I want to present to him and I’d probably just go to Vince because that’s the only way to go, if it’s something like that. I’ve talked to him a few times to where I’m like, ‘now, I feel fine.’ Like he’s still intimidating as hell when he walks by and you want to make sure you’re on your best behavior, but I feel comfortable enough.”

Is this the end of Vince McMahon era in WWE?

It has been a few hours since WWE announced that McMahon would step down as chairman and CEO of the sports entertainment conglomerate.

Following a Wall Street Journal report alleging that McMahon agreed to pay a corporate employee a $3 million settlement to keep quiet about an affair, the WWE board of directors is investigating him. Stephanie McMahon, McMahon’s daughter and a WWE official, has been named interim CEO and chairperson while the inquiry is ongoing.

During the investigation, Vince McMahon will continue his job and responsibilities relating to WWE’s creative material, and the business announced Friday that he is “committed to cooperate with the assessment underway.” The board is also looking into allegations of wrongdoing by WWE’s chief of talent relations, John Laurinaitis.

According to the Journal, the board’s inquiry turned several other settlement agreements between McMahon and Laurinaitis. McMahon’s connection with the lady, who was recruited as a paralegal in 2019, was consensual, according to a WWE representative, and the executive used his personal assets to pay the settlements, including those involving Laurinaitis.
