Nikki and Brie, ‘The Bella Twins‘ are one of the most recognized female figures from WWE history. But their real identity being the last name Bella is no longer their property due to WWE’s guidelines. The sisters known as Garcia Twins now have spoken about parting ways from WWE and having a tough time with their real names.

While speaking on the Not Skinny Not Fat podcast, Garcia Twins stated to have worked for a year before dropping Bellas from their names. Nikki and Brie stated a backstory recalling the times when “We knew we just wanted to walk away and were done with this chapter of our lives. They then contemplated whether they should walk away with the Bella empire they created and consider entering a new chapter of their lives living as the Garia Twins.

The twins stated the experience to be hard at that stage of life when they were the ambassadors for WWE. They added, “We’re moms and haven’t wrestled in 3 years, it was like okay we’re entering this new chapter as the contract’s coming to an end.” ‘Bellas’ IP owned by WWE stayed with them and took the identity of the twins.
