Bianca Belair retains her Raw Women's Championship
Bianca Belair defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Carmella tonight at Money in the Bank premium live event which was held at the MGM Garden Grand Arena. The EST of WWE was looking to topple the underhanded tactics of the most beautiful woman on the planet. This was a completely unexpected challenge for Belair as she was initially scheduled to defend her title against Rhea Ripley who was scrapped from the match two weeks ago due to an unfortunate injury.
The match between Bianca and Carmella began with some takedowns and grappling maneuvers with slowly both women progressing to dish out different offenses on each other. Carmella caught Bianca with a superkick while the champ was stuck on ring ropes. Bianca delivered 10 shots to Carmella while standing on the ropes. While Carmella was bragging in Bianca’s face, she got humbled by a vicious kiss of death into the mat and she eventually lost the match.
Bianca Belair successfully retained her Raw Women’s Championship in the process. One of the most notable part during this whole match was the in-character biased commentary done by Corey Graves for her wife Carmella. He was seen making arguments with both Jimmy Smith and Byron Saxton during the match.
