“She’s a strong competitor”; Bianca Belair reflects on her feud with WWE star

A former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair, who is currently the WWE RAW Women’s Champion, recently spoke about her recent feud between herself and Doudrop of a few months back and recalled a special moment. Bianca has been pushed as main event star since her arrival on the main roster and even after losing to Becky Lynch, in 30 seconds at Summerslam, she still received a push. She was the sole survivor in the Smackdown vs Raw survivor series match and won several other feuds including the one involving Doudrop.
The raw woman’s recently spoke with Luke Owen of Wrestletalk, and the feud proved to be a challenge for her:
“Doudrop’s really fun – I love to get in the ring with Doudrop. I loved that feud too because I feel like I got to show a different side of me. I’m used to being the person in there that’s the bigger person and stronger and tougher, but Doudrop, she’s a strong competitor so I got to show more of my athleticism with her. But to be able to finally KOD her after she had been running from me week after week, I feel like that was a special moment there, and I really wanted to prove that I was the strong-EST. I train all the time for it, and it was just my moment to prove it in that moment.”
Bianca Belair will be next seen defending her championship at Backlash
After successfully defending her title against Queen Zelina on last week’s RAW, Bianca was approached by Sonya Deville with an open contract to determine her next opponent for WWE. As she is a fighting champion, Bianca Belair signed the contract and while looking towards the entrance and waiting for her opponent to reveal herself, she was attacked by Sonya, who revealed herself to be the next challenger.
In a backstage interview Sarah Schreiber, The EST assured that Sonya is not a match for her and that she was expecting some other people.
“I knew I had a target on my back after winning the Raw Women’s Championship after beating Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania, but I knew I maybe had to prepare for Liv Morgan, Doudrop, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, but never did I think, Sonya Deville. And then she attacks from behind?”
She adds:
“But you know what? I am not worried because I stay ready so I don’t have to get ready. Because while Sonya Deville has been wearing jackets and making matches for a year, I’ve been wearing titles and making history. So lets do it”
